We're on a Mission
Beyond casual friendships and hangouts, Xircle strives to make it easier to find study buddies within classes, especially your typical 100+ student lecture.

Our name represents the intersection of our interests that bring us together.
Synonymous with diversity, inclusion, genuineness.
Xircle's history began with an online application called Uni-verse, created by the friends and future founders Seema, Nanar, and Surabhi during a hackathon in the winter of 2020.
Uni-verse was a social media website created with the common college student in mind. They recognized that, from meeting new people, finding genuine friends, or adapting to college-level courses, the transition from high school to college can be difficult to navigate for both introverts and extroverts. Even moreso, maintaining a strong network is crucial to your success throughout college — you need people to lean on for emotional support, people to go to for help with assignments, people to turn to when times are tough that understand what you're going through — and most importantly, to have fun! Thus, Uni-verse was there to fill the gaps and help its users socialize with the people they shared the most in common. The hackathon ended, but the vision lived on.
That same group of friends (and a few more!) would later gather together to bring you Xircle, named so to honor the intersections of our interests that help form strong connections.
We invite you to join our social xircle, coming soon to your campus.
